If you live in the Region of Murcia, you can deduct 100% of what you pay to install the charging point from your income tax (IRPF), up to €4,000. A charger installed by us costs from €1,600 VAT included, so in many cases you get it all back.
Requirements:
- Tax resident in the Region of Murcia.
- You must own the house or the garage space. Tenants can’t claim it.
- The car must be for private use.
- Keep the invoice and keep the charger working for at least 2 years.
It comes off the regional part of your income tax. If one year you don’t owe enough to use it all, you can carry the rest over to the next 3 years. We give you the invoice and the certificate; your tax advisor does the rest.

How much does it cost?
From €1,600 VAT included for a typical home. The price depends mainly on the distance between your electrical panel and the charger. You get a fixed price before we start.
I live in Torrevieja or Orihuela Costa. Can I claim the deduction?
No. It’s a Region of Murcia deduction and only people who live there can claim it.
What if I don't file a tax return in Spain?
Then you can’t claim it either. You need to be tax resident in the Region of Murcia.
Do I need permission from the community to install it in the garage?
You don’t need their approval. You only have to let the president or the property manager know beforehand.
Do I need to increase the contracted power?
Usually not, because the V2C adjusts the charging to what the house is using. If you’d rather have a separate supply just for the charger, we also handle the registration with the distributor.
Will it work with my car?
Yes. It has a Type 2 connector, the European standard used by Tesla, BMW, Hyundai, Renault, MG and almost every brand.
